Playstation 3 has introduced a range of new features compared to the PS2. The most nothworthy addition has been the PS3 wireless controller which is based on previous PlayStation controllers, but has been designed to add new elements to this type of gaming, and will make a popular Christmas Gift this holiday season.

This new wireless controller is designed like the DualShock wired controller, but it's main difference is that it doesn't require a wire to operate, and connects through Bluetooth instead. This big benefit, gives gamers way more movement and freedom when playing, controlling movies and other activities. No wires also means there is far less clutter on floors as well.

Thereis also the option to buy a separate charging station for these controllers to ensuring that they're always powered up and ready to use.

Playstation wireless controllers great benefit is that you can connect via Bluetooth to the console, meaning there's no wires to worry about. The PS3 can connect up to 7 Bluetooth controllers when you buy it, whcih makes it ideal for multiplayer gaming without the wires.

The range of Bluetooth is aproximately 30 feet, making it extremely useful. These controllers should last for about 30 hours when charged for about two and a half hours.

As well as connecting controllers through Bluetooth, you can also use the PS3 Bluetooth headset to chat on the console. You can also use it as a microphone when docked in it's charging cradle.
